As the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero faces concerning budget reductions to help fund defence spending, the Committee will question Climate Minister Katie White on the implications for the UK’s priorities and global standing as a leader on climate action.
\r\nThe Committee is holding a short inquiry into the UK’s role in international climate policy. In this second and final session, the Committee will seek to understand how the UK can build on and strengthen its climate leadership on the global stage in an increasingly challenging fiscal, economic and political environment.
