Next Wednesday afternoon, the Treasury Committee will hold a public evidence session questioning experts from RAND Europe, Make UK Defence and the Institute for Fiscal Studies on the United Kingdom’s defence spending.

\r\nHalf a year after it was originally due for publication, MPs are likely to ask about the potential impacts of the ongoing delays to the Government’s Defence Investment Plan.
\r\nQuestions may also cover the Government’s 3.5% defence spending commitment, procurement within the Ministry of Defence and whether defence spending can meaningfully generate economic growth in the UK.
